Is Your Circle For You

As we move through life we always hear the saying “people are in your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” This could not be a more true statement. The important thing to remember about the circle of people in your life is that they must be for you. You cannot be against me and be in my circle. Now this is not saying you should have yes people around you. All yeses will not promote growth but the people who give you pushback and check you should always be coming from a place of love and encouragement. People who are truly for you want to see you succeed. If you have someone who always has something negative to say about you or your endeavors, they are not really for you. These people need to be in your outer circle. If they secretly celebrate your failures, you guested it outer circle. If they question and cannot understand anything you strive for… outer circle. If they try to talk you out of chasing your God given dreams.. You already know. You can only be you and I can only be me and we should be doing our best to help one another become the best possible versions of ourselves.

The people in your inner circle, will undergird and support your vision. They will be there when you are on the top as well as on the bottom. They are consistent in the value they add to your life. Keeping this in mind if you are a part of someone’s inner circle, you owe it to them to do the same. We can all learn from one another when our motives are pure. We can be benefits or liabilities. If you have liability friendships, welllll the choice is yours. Life is too short to allow people to chip away at you.
